Valentine is Coming, Where is Your Boyfriend?

Phew! Valentine’s Day is around the corner again. The streets are divided as they always are — those who are planning (pretty much seriously, if I must say) romantic surprises, those who are waiting to be surprised (heartbreak just might visit them), and those who are conveniently claiming “Valentine is just another day” (we see you).

But let’s be real. If you’re reading this, chances are someone has already asked you that annoying question — Valentine is coming; where is your boyfriend (or girlfriend, as the case may be)? If you have one, good for you. If you don’t, gather around; there’s still time to secure something before February 14th. Either way, we’ve got you covered with our bespoke Valentine’s survival guide, brought to you by the Lifestyle App.

For the Lovebirds: Plan the Perfect Baecation (leave the eateries for the singles please)

Couples

If you and your partner are all about making memories, why not level up this Valentine’s season with a romantic shortlet getaway? Forget the usual “Netflix and chill” (you probably did that last year). This year, book a fully furnished shortlet where you both can conveniently escape the prying eyes of the general public and, of course, Lagos noise.

The Lifestyle app makes shortlet bookings super easy- whether you want an apartment that screams luxury or a budget-friendly (there’s-still-life-after-valentine package) staycation spot, we’ve got something for you. You can imagine waking up in a beautiful space, preparing breakfast in bed (awwwn), and enjoying a quiet, intimate time together. No distractions, no neighbors, just quality time and beautiful romance.

For the Singles: Valentine’s Day is for You, Too!

Valentine for Singles

The singles must breathe!! Hallelujah somebody!

Well, if you’re single like the rest of us, I tell you, this is the perfect excuse for a bit of self-care (don’t wait till December ejoor). So instead of worrying about “Where is your boyfriend?” flip the script and ask, “Where is your peace of mind this period?”. I dare say you deserve to pamper yourself, too. You can either:

  • Book yourself a mini staycation (double points if it’s just you)

  • Call your friends and plan a Singles Only hangout — good food, music, and no relationship stress.

  • Use our bill payment feature to settle your utility bills (data, light, etc.) in advance so you don’t wake up on February 15th to NEPA’s Valentine’s gift.

For Those in ‘Situationships’… Let’s Be Guided

Situationship

For those in this shoe, we listen; we don’t judge.

If your talking stage has survived the test of time, this is the moment of truth. This Valentine’s Day will determine whether you’re in a real relationship or just there for more talk. But don’t worry. It doesn’t matter if you’re receiving flowers or a “you know I don’t celebrate Valentine” text (avoidance much, if I must say); we’re here to make sure you aren’t left on a cliffhanger. Go ahead to:

  • Plan a last-minute escape with the Lifestyle app — just in case someone’s network suddenly goes off on February 14th

  • Be financially prepared so you don’t become stranded when you could have used our bill payment feature to pay for dinner, drinks, or plan B.

Finally, my dears, whether you’re boo’d (or bae’d) up, single, or figuring out, one thing is certain, Valentine’s Day is meant to be enjoyed. And with the Lifestyle App, you don’t have to stress about where to stay, how to pay bills, or how to enjoy this season.

So, Valentine’s Day is coming. Where is your boyfriend? If you still don’t have one, at least make sure you’re on our waiting list. One thing is sure: an easy life is just a reach away, and you don’t want to miss it. As for my fellow singles and me, we are headed for the waitlist. See you again next year for another Valentine’s update. Adios✌.
